When institution like Rajkot District Cooperative Milk Producers' Union Ltd fully committed for the rural milk producers specially landless labours , small & marginal farmers & city consumers, celebrate Golden Jubilee, it becomes not only commercial but memorable.

The significant memories remain associated with sharing of happiness of milk producers / farmers who are satisfied to have daily market of milk in their village itself, receiving excellent payment for the milk produced by cows & buffalos, veterinary doctors of the Union taking due care of their animals by timely deworming, vaccinating & treating if falls sick. A.I. workers report & inseminate their cows & buffalos when come in heat, ways and means to increase milk production & productivity and above all, timely advice for matters concerning to farmer and his family , like Jayshree Group Insurance , scholarship schemes, social development programmes , tree plantation in villages etc.

The other picture of Golden Jubilee celebration of Rajkot Milk Union is to observe a happy consumer returning from a booth carrying milk pouches , chhas, ghee, peda with full confidence of purchasing fresh , pure, healthy products for the family.

This is supplemented with the happiness of distributors, retailers & hawkers capturing major percentage of market share.

The real pride of the Dairy is receipt of awards & certificates by outside agencies recognisimg the achievement made.

The table showing comparative figures of ten years progress ( 2000 - 2001 to 2010 - 2011 ) is a good example to recollect what would have been the situation 40 years back.

However it is a long way to meet the future challenges to see smile in the face of one & all farmers & fully satisfied consumers.
