Quality Policy

QUALITY POLICY SHOULD BE SPOTLESS

Any spot on white cloth is easily visible. Milk is also white in colour, although cow milk is slightly yellowish because of natural presence of carotene. Change in quality of milk is easily noticed by colour odour before performing any laboratory analysis.

QUALITY OF POOR MANS PRODUCE

It is an established fact that 70-75% of country's milk is produced by small/marginal farmers and landless labours. The quality of milk, starts from farmers door, specially from cows/buffaloes udder. The cleanliness of the cow/ buffalo in general and udder in particular depends on management, housing, hygiene, feeding and rearing of animals. Even feeding, before or after milking, more so not allowing the animal to sit after milking when the teat canal remains open affect milk quality.

Quality policy has different relation with the clean milk production, an area of significant importance in the present dairy industry of India specially under cooperative sector.

CONSUMERS PREFERENCE AND TRUST ARE CONDITIONAL

In common words, a product happily acceptable by the consumers is of good quality but at the same time percentage consumption depend on its cost, availability in the market besides attractive packing and consumers awareness.

COMMITTED TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT AND PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

Many food product prepared from milk are available in the Indian market under different brand names. But why, products of Amul brand are in scarcity inspite of good marketing strategy, advance planning and well spread net work all over the country. It is mainly and only because of its "Quality Policy" & brand name.

IN DAIRY INDUSTRY, SPECIALLY UNDER COOPERATIVE SECTOR, QUALITY POLICY STARTS FROM THE HOUSE OF A POOR Literate or Semi Literate FARMERS , UNDERGOES HANDLING AT DIFFERENT STAGES OF PRODUCTION OF VARIOUS PRODUCTS OF VARIABLE TASTES & QUALITY AND FINALLY ENDS AT CONSUMERS FAMILY BRINGING HAPPINESS AND SATISFACTION BECAUSE OF JOINT, CONTINUED EFFORTS, COMMITMENT AND DEVOTION OF ALL INVOLVED.

Undoubtedly, the quality of milk is directly related to the quality of Cattle rearing. Hence awareness among milk producers, dairy workers in DCS, route contractors and all employees of the dairy about quality of milk, feed of cows & buffaloes, hygiene in their management & rearing has been taken care of greatly to get the desired outcomes.

Adulteration in milk is one of the greatest impediment against the quality maintenance & bad wishers of milk society always try to spoil the cooperative movement for their short time benefit by involving in complicated tricky methods of adulteration which may affect the health of consumers. Hence it is our utmost responsibility to root-out such undesirable & irresponsible elements. No compromise on quality is entertained and strict actions are taken against milk societies involved in adulteration.
